Rudy, we've got plenty of duct tape. Never know when you'll have to make some makeshift suspenders to avoid the "Saggy Pants" ordinance. Also have some extra rope in case your belt is too small after indulging in all the great food Noodle and RR have for us. 8)

Stoney, Duct tape suspenders, Cool! Those could be handy.
Your'e right about the food, I'm gonna bring bigger pants.....

I want to apologize for not taking part in this thread. We have been preparing to move and it has taken more time than I care to think about.

I wish we could join you and the others for what I expect to be a wonderfull time, but we will not be able to be there this time. Maybe next year....If you have it again.

What a pleasant surprise...I think of you and Ragenna often...every time I wear my necklace. Wish y'all could be here with us...just seeing Ragenna trying to stare down a boiled crawfish would be a hilarious thing. Maybe we'll meet at the next hunt. Stay tuned for all the pictures.

I donated that coin to the Historical Society Museum in St. Francisville. It had more historic value to it than monetary. Besides, I was able to get my name on the case for the donation and an article in the local paper. My 15 minutes of fame!!!

Folks have been asking about a Friday night hunt if we finish with our activities early enough. ABSOLUTELY!! But the areas designated will be well away from the official hunt sites because there's no fudging on the "tokened" areas. Everybody starts at the same time on those sites on Saturday morning.

If you want to hunt Friday before the festivities begin, everybody is free to start hunting at 4:00 p.m. to get a couple of hours of practice in before food is served. That would be "supper" in this neck of the woods. The east and north portions of the property are available just for that. The south and west areas are off limits. If you want to hunt after supper, the same areas will be available, but be aware ... it's dark in them thar woods!

When you come in, check in at the greenhouse, get your credentials, sign your waivers, and get directions where you can hunt at that time. NO HUNTING UNTIL THAT IS COMPLETED.
I'm a taskmaster, aren't I??

Don't even think of missing the evening meal and festivities. Lots of information, maps and hunt kits will be handed out at the Friday welcome festivities.
