We're all gonna be coonasses for the weekend no matter where you come from!!! It's offical, once you cross the border into Louisiana coming to Noodles, you instantly become a " Coonass " for three days! No excuses not to feel welcome here because ya'll will be one !!!!!!!

Wow! Only 3 days?? I gotta get busy...

We have a problem, Houston!! Bridge End Farm is on the verge of pneumonia and the doc has threatened him with a hospital stay if he doesn't improve by tomorrow (Wed.). We need some prayer warriors to get really busy!! He has been such a great supporter of this hunt, we gotta do all we can to keep him on the road to health and Louisiana.

Send him a PM to cheer him up!

On my way to check on the t-shirts! Watercolor, I just may have to break my own rule and join the prize drawings! That is one gorgeous painting. I'm envious. Can't draw a stick man. Judie, those framed logos would be a constant reminder, too. I love 'em!

Thanks everybody for the votes of confidence. It's actually a fun project!! The devil is in the details, as they say. Did I rent enough portapotties? (I'll find out!) How many potatoes does it take to feed this mass of folks? How many cooks? (Fortunately I have some WONDERFUL friends and relatives!)

My thought when I first started thinking about this was, "Everybody is going to be traveling a long way, some all day long. It can't just be a one-day thing. It's gotta be a VACATION for folks." So, that's how it turned into a full weekend deal. Only later did it dawn on me that I'm MILES out in the country. No running to the nearby Sonic for lunch. nonononono. Gotta FEED those folks, too!

Several others, including Judie, have really devoted hours and $$$ that you'll never hear about, so THANKS TO ALL THOSE, TOO!! It's gonna be FUN!

Thank you all for the prayers, I do feel them. The antibotics I was given yesterday give me a big headache at least I assume it is them. Still I am taking them and I slept till a few moments ago and now headed to give Uncle Sam his share of my hard work last year. lol. Yes Noodle, RR and Granny I am going right back to bed after I promise. I guess I let my body get pretty run down bu not getting enough rest as I am never sick.,

Noodle funny my farm is pretty close to canaveral that you would use that term. Yes my doc has advise me that if I haven't improved by tomorrow afternoon when he sees me, he thinks a stay for a few days will be warranted in the hospital to clear up the congestion, etc within me.

I have no plans yet to toss in the towel and not come. God knows I have looked forward to this event for months and have stuff to deliver, ie: Coolers, thermos, Stoney's kneepads. And I have thing to pick-up. Sniffer is bringing me a cool car tag or two.
