Never seen Luzianne around here....guess that is the way with some things. I had a friend that sent me some cajun seasonings once...LOVED them!!!! Never did find them around here! David's daughter Dana cannot buy Malt o Meal hot cereal where she lives....we end up shipping it to her....that stuff is heavy! lol I guess some things are just kinda regional! I am sure if someone wins the Luzianne tea that does not live in the area they are going to be very thankful you took the time to go cash those in already! Thanks RR!!

I hunted the strawberry festival grounds this morn, the clean up crew had already started cleaning, the amusement ride personnel were tearing down their rides, so I was able to hunt. I found lots of clad, nuts, bolts & washers. The clean up crew were orange dressed criminals...they told me they found money too. I did not take my digger (survival knife) out there, but the city officials said these were not serious criminals. But, needless to say the place was littered with paper, boiled crawfish heads, cobs of corn, French fries, hot dogs it was messy & smelly. At least I was able to get in a little hunting before the big hunt.

This will get you started, change the salt and pepper to your liking:

Cajun Seasoning
* 2 1/2 tablespoons paprika
* 2 tablespoons salt
* 2 tablespoons garlic powder
* 1 tablespoon onion powder
* 1 tablespoon black pepper
* 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
* 1 tablespoon dried leaf oregano
* 1 tablespoon dried leaf thyme

Combine all ingredients thoroughly and store in an airtight container. Makes about 2/3 cup

I'm getting excited about the hunt and looking forward to meeting everyone. I may see if I can sneak down early and check things out. Maybe get a jump on all the pros. Just kidding. See you soon!
