'Oh I do Like to be Beside the Seaside'...tra la la...

Probably my best productive couple of hours at the beach ever..

Winter has started here in NZ so the beaches are deserted.. Nobody hunts here either. I have
seen one other md'er so far this year and I am out regularly.

Too cold to get in the water, but there was no need. Plenty of targets for the Excalibur
in the wet sand.
You may be able to see my diggings in the photo to the East.
All of the loot including 3 rings. And a Medic Alert Bracelet.
No great value here but a ring is a ring!

Now that's a beach with a view!!!! Congrats on the finds.

Just wondering, how cold is the water?? It looks like it would be a great water hunting area and especially if it doesn't get worked. Have you considered trying a wet suit??

man that brings back memory's i use to hunt that beach & a few others around the area have ya ever hit the main beach in Nelson the front beach was loaded with coins & the back beach was loaded with sinkers.

Dang what a beach.

A beach like that you could work everyday for a year and not cover it all completely.

With the targets you found there is more out there.

Love finding lead on a beach, makes me work it harder.

The value is in the eye of the beholder, and it looks to me like you found some real treasure this day! One ring in a beach hunt is a great day in my book. You got three!!!!

You have some nice finds there. If I was you I would grid the whole beach and work it for all its worth. There are bound to be plenty of great finds there and no competion. Sigh!! There are so many td'ers here in San Diego that it is hard to find good finds on a regular basis. Good luck and HH Ted
