i got a gemstone in a deal that came with a little bit of paperwork im thinking of selling it but dont know where or how to do it if i could get some advice on it i would really appreciate it

A reputable jeweler can do a certified appraisal for a fee. Does the paperwork indicate any type of treatments to the gem?

Selling gems is a tricky thing. Especially such large stones, which are (in my experience) often considered to large for jewellery.
You can try finding collectors, or try ebay and the likes. Sometimes even jewellers buy them. But you are never likely to get the best price for it on Ebay.
