well today it got up in upper 30's and sun was shining. I went out and hunted an old farm house. It was super trashy, I need to go back with my small coil......no silver today. I got some clad, dog tag, key with rhinestones..hahaha....2 crotal bells, and 2 more indians, a toasted 1880 and a decent 1865, that takes me to 145 indians for the year. :laughing7:

Nice crotals and IHP's!! :icon_thumright:

Nice finds for sure. Glad you snagged a couple more Indians!

The wet snow didn't stop ya eh (got ~5 inches here). The 1865 cleaned up great!

heck of a hunt! a lil bit of everything! sweet!

By the by, those copper/brass/bronze bells are becoming hugely collectible. They will likely have a simple design around the bottom half when cleaned. However, some have more complex embossing -- and, rarely, written information (maker, bell's purpose). Also, it seems you might be on a "string" of graduated (in size) bells. If enough are found, they can be reattached to a strip of old leather, like an old belt. I recently saw an 8-bell (restrung) "string" sell for over $600 -- though one bell alone was the size of a baseball.

nice little tribe and bells to go with..

nice hunt!!!! MR TUFF
