OKM Locators / detectors

Does anyone know about the locator / detectors that OKM produce? I am a rookie and with the numerous detectors out there its very hard to sort the fact from fiction. OKM make some interesting claims about their locators and I was wondering if anyone out there is using one of their units and could advise?

I heard from a German TH that OKM has a reputation in Germany of being a big scam operation.

I have a friend in Florida who is a U.S. dealer of OKM products. I've been with him several times & I am impressed with their capabilities.

Here is some interesting reading on LRL's (long range locators). In the kellyco article there is a locator that looks a lot like one of the German (OKM) ones. Also look at the projects. Rob
