i found my first arrow head of the season
i think it is the oldest one i have ever found but not sure
i can see were the end is fluted for the shaft
can someone give me information please

Nice find!! It looks to be ground at the base. Does the piece feel really dull not sharp at the base? Now see if it goes from the auricles(corner) up the blade a little then it should feel sharper after the quarter to halfway point on the blade. The concave base looks paleo in nature. This could be a paleo triangle point as it is termed here. I am 30 minutes from Pt. Jervis, NY. I could look at it and tell you once in hand.....................GTP
