Old Barn and Landscapes

The barn has seen better days, don't know how much longer it will be there. Don't think I would want to use it for shelter during a storm.

These were taken in evening light on the back side of a rainy cold front that moved through yesterday.

I bet there have been buckets of sweat lost in that old barn. I really like the rolling hills in that last pic. All are nice ones!
 

Awesome pictures! :thumbsup: My great-grandfather built a large barn like that in Iowa over 150 years ago. It's structure was built entirely by mortise-tenon. It would still be standing if it wasn't for my uncle torching it so he didn't have to pay the taxes on it. I still remember leading old ''Bessie'' in to her stall to milk her every morning and evening. I used to also help cull the pigeon population so as to cut down their crapping on the feed bales.
