Old bottle stopper found beachcombing

My wife, daughter, and I were out for a hike out on the Long Point trail off of Provincetown on Cape Cod. We found a few pieces of beach glass, but I think those get picked up regularly by many people. A couple more unusual pieces were the sand dollar, and this ceramic bottle stopper. From what I can tell, the stopper would be from the late 1800's. I saw some examples that have writing on the top, but this one was either worn off, or unmarked.

I love the sand dollar. The stopper may not be that old. Grolsch beer (and others) use that type of stopper today.
