Old Broken Off Wagon Piece from the Pioneers of The Oregon Trail off a covered Wagon

This is a pretty amaZing Piece it has a broken nail that is bent
and the nail is silver like
this is cast iron are steel?

You can see it looks as tho the BlackSmith just hammered the nail on the covered wagon

I found this near the Pioneer Brides Woman Grave on the oregn trail
up the barlow trail a bit using the Garret , this is from a wagon wreck it looks
that nail is very old

Any idea how old this is is it spiritual

Is this the actual color of your finds or is your camera making everything look like SS or chrome? Maybe it is your camera.
