Old bullet

Hi everyone!! I found this old bullet today. I'm hoping someone can ID it for me and let me know what type it is and approximately how old it is/when it was made. Thanks. Pics below.

Looks like Indian war or Spanish-American. I am not an expert on these subjects so I don't know. Let the experts chime in.

Thanks ekeisler. That would fit the time period of other items I found in the same area as the bullet (late 1800s - early 1900s). Some of the other items found in this area included a 1902 Barber dime, 1902 dog license, and a 1897 indian head cent.
