Found these bullets on the site of a battle in the 1600s today. I know these bullets are not from that battle, nor are they that old. They are lead or lead filled, I've tried to photo several angles.

I also found a very small one I'll upload a picture of a little later, along with measurements for each one.

Looking for type/date, any information really. Thanks! IMG_20200104_163313_MP.jpgIMG_20200104_163408.jpgIMG_20200104_163447.jpg

all look modern to me the slug on the left looks pretty old as it's white the others not so old. I dig lots of modern hunting rounds when relic hunting. there's really no way to avoid them.

If you’re hunting a site that old, keep at it. There’s a very good chance there’s a killer find waiting on you out there. Good luck!

Thank you all!

Modern in my opinion! A 1600's site should produce some fine coins and relics! :icon_thumleft:

I agree. Stay at it. Don’t know your machine but swing low and slow. Listen for the faint deep
Signals. Guarantee it’ll pay off.:icon_thumright:

Thanks. The issue is it's a vast wilderness so not sure *exactly* where the battle occurred. Setting up time with the town historian next week and will hopefully narrow it down.

I'm definitely in the immediate area, though!
