Old Button was best find of the day. Need help with ID.

Searched an old home today. Found some keys, kids toy cars (not shown), peters 12 ga. shell, winchester 38 cal. shell, a bunch of pennies a few clad quarters, 1 wheatie 1955 and an old button that has some writing on the back, but its not easily read. Any help with the ID would be helpful.

If you could read the backmark we could narrow it down, but looks late 19th C to me.

That is a nice 1840's civilian button, My guess is it will Say Robinsons or kendrick and Ives, I see the word Extra in one of the pictures. It could also say Benidict and Burnham.
