Hello everyone (especially PBK)

I found this button almost on top of the ground, but, i think it may have turned up in construction. It is one pieced, silver plated (i think), and has a circular pattern that radiates outward on the back (like a stump)

How old can this be?

Hey, GC—

Couldn't find a listing for it, but there are several fairly similar buttons listed as late 19th - early 20th century civilian dress buttons in Hughes & Lester's The Big Book of Buttons. So, I think I'd go with that. If you think there's any detail on the back that might help us identify it, post a pic and we'll have another go at it. ;)
