Hey folks! Just wanted to post this interesting find, well at least for me it's quite interesting. [emoji16] well I have never found one of these but looks old. What u guys think? I agree with Crusader... because the 1600s Spanish button is a one-piece solid cast brass button... whereas TheCaribbeanDigger's button is a 2-piece brass button... "2-piece" meaning it is a hollow button made by crimping the thin brass sheetmetal face over the rim of the flat back. I believe it is from the early-to-mid 1800s.
