Old car bumper jack. What did it fit???

I picked up an old bumper jack out of an estate a month ago.

Any ideas of what it might have fit?

Manufacturer? Model of car or truck??

you prob have already, just in case though,sometimes on the hook and other part
there are # and letters stamped, if it has those post them please

That was pretty much a universal bumper jack from the 50s-60s. The "foot" is missing. It was a steel maybe 5x5 inch plate that the jack sat in and the tiretool was also used for a jack handle. A little switch on the side could be changed from up to down for the jacking motion.

I can't find any type of markings or any kind on the jack.

Like oneshot said, a universal bumper jack. Had a base it fit into and would raise any car or truck generally with a strong enough bumper. When you got it too high the car generally fell back off it and some people were dumb enough to jack a car up with it, then climb underneath the car and work on it, usually for the last time...

Based on the color I think it may be a Chevy jack, I seem to remember them being red or black....
