A fellow was asking $20 for this sign so, I bought it. I'm not a sign person. My question is what age and what kind of value if any? The two pictures are before and after I rinsed it off.
not quite the Same But you gotta like the price Tag
PIEDMONA CIGARETTES SIGN
If I (we) can find out when the average price of a pack of Cigs was 5 Cents
we could have a clue on age
I collected and sold antique porcelain and tin signs for some years and for sure you got a steal at twenty bucks. Looks like 3' tall by 2' wide, also guessing it is single sided? Also agree with Plumbatas findings, 200-300 plus at most upscale antique shop around the U.S. If you have it hanging out side you might want to want to wipe it down with some rust inhibitor ever so often. That's what I do a least. Forgot to add that generally speaking with signs like this larger the sign the more value it has.
I collect old sports items and have a collection of these cards from The early 1900's...are you selling?
