old cigarette sign.

A fellow was asking $20 for this sign so, I bought it. I'm not a sign person. My question is what age and what kind of value if any? The two pictures are before and after I rinsed it off.

Im guessing Early 1900's? If you google that brand, there are all sorts of signs. I guess they used to come with baseball cards

I just read that the average price of smokes in the 20's were 15 cents to a Quarter a pack.

If I had to guess, it would be in the 1909-1911 range...again..I do alot of guessing..lol

I figured it had to be worth the twenty bucks. It's now on the side of my reproduction smoke house. Thank you both for your input. BTW, I also got two iron wash kettles for ten dollars a piece as well.

I had a somewhat local collector I.D it as being from 1905-1912. The offer of $175 for it was politely declined.

A number of identical ones have sold on ebay. In that condition I'd expect a value of 250-300, based on what has sold. Very nice score.

I collected and sold antique porcelain and tin signs for some years and for sure you got a steal at twenty bucks. Looks like 3' tall by 2' wide, also guessing it is single sided? Also agree with Plumbatas findings, 200-300 plus at most upscale antique shop around the U.S. If you have it hanging out side you might want to want to wipe it down with some rust inhibitor ever so often. That's what I do a least. Forgot to add that generally speaking with signs like this larger the sign the more value it has.
