Old copper and an interesting token

I dug this 1749 George II Half Penny in decent condition and the next signal was a coin I didn't immediately recognize. A quick search revealed its a Baron Spolasco token (for advertising purposes?). Apparently an interesting fellow but I couldn't find much info on the token. I didn't see anything on t-net so I thought I'd share.

It has a date Jany 22d 1838 and inscription.

Nice finds, unless I take a long road trip I doubt I'll ever find a copper like that!
