Old Copper Brooch...

Hello all,
I went back to the cache site again yesterday. I was there for a little over an hour and managed to find a 1919 wheatie, another .25 cent game token with an Eagle on it, and this old copper brooch. My camera batteries died on me so the only pic is of the brooch. The pin on the back was still intact until I touched it and it broke off.

I'm not kid'n ya, I just bairly touched it,,,
and I just bairly pried backwards on my diiging knife when it broke too..

Sorry about the late reply, I have been really busy lately...
I forgot to mention the dementions of the Brooch/Pin. It measures 2 1/2"W x 2 1/2"H.
I believe it's made of copper, and was guilded with gold originally...
I really enjoy finding items like this one. They just don't make things like this these days.

Congratulations on finding that brooch. It certainly looks to be in very good shape. That kinda find is probably the one that I would mess up and hit it with the digging tool.
