Old dragon earings?? with purple stone

I have had these for a long time. I think they are earings.. though not 100% sure? would love an idea of age and origin as I cant find anything similar online, Thank you! :-)

Earrings with the wire missing, by the green in the metal I would say brass. stone possibly amethyst, or glass..
Age unknown.
