Old Electric Fan....Before and After

At a garage sale the guy asked me if I was looking for anything special - I asked him if he had any old fans , he pulled this out of the back room . It was all apart in a heap , he had started to change the cord a few years ago and never put it back together . I got it for $2.00 .

I used Krylon spray paint on the body parts and Rustoleum Metalic on the cage . I'm guessing it took about 3 hours .

Those old fans are fun to restore and work so much better than the modern garbage. I pick them up every chance I get. Fortunately/unfortunately a neighbor down the street buys them from me as fast as I can do the work. I keep hoping he'll get enough of them, so that sooner or later I'll get to keep one.
