Old find looking for input

My wife got me a new display case for birthday I was going thru some older finds and wanted ur guys input. I found this years ago in one of my better fields. It's hard to tell from the pics but the small holes look to have the same drill patten you would see on banner stones which I also found half of one in the same field made if similar material. Could it possibly have been a weight or a necklace? It's made from a waxy feeling soapstone. All input welcome thanks

Could have been or maybe someone practicing or just fooling around. One thing for sure, it ain't natural...

What ever the little drilled piece is awesome I would not mind finding something like it. All my banner stones are broke in half also.

Could have been part of a gorget, necklace type.
