More about Pflueger...

Source: http://www.pfluegerfishing.com/home.html

"Since 1881 the Pflueger name has been part of the fishing industry when Ernest F. Pflueger founded a fish hook company called the Enterprise Manufacturing Company. When his son Earnest A. Pflueger took over the family business and founded the E.A. Pflueger Company, he expanded the company from a hook manufacturer to all aspects of fishing tackle & gear. In 1916 the first Pflueger Baitcast reel was manufactured in Akron, Ohio, and became a benchmark of the fishing reel industry. The Pflueger spinning reel was introduced in 1954. Over the years Pflueger continues to be one of the world's leading rod and reel manufacturers."

Here is an awesome site... http://www.tacklecollecting.com/pflueger.htm

There is a fella under the "collectors" area that is interested in pre1900 metal lures... he may be able to assist you in dating your piece.

Thanks a lot for the help. No matter the value, it is still one of my favorite finds. Thanks again!

A new-fangled lure like that for Angelo? I don't want to say his gear is old-fashioned, but I took this picture of his bass tackle laid out to dry after his last fishing trip.

I think first we should encourage him to embrace the new "pole" technology and retire his hand-lines.

OK CHARLIE .!

Buddy up with Jim. Now I have to worry between all from New York to Montana.

By the way, I see that you own just about every brand of detector and still unable to find anything, so I'm suggesting a new brand for you.
