That's awesome! Looks very crude, almost counterfeit :dontknow: Nice snag though.

Very cool find! Congrats:icon_thumright:

Thats is so cool just to think of when it was dropped and how long its been there great display coin

Very cool old coin. Congrats

Nice, first one I’ve ever seen

That's a cool old coin, congratulations on the save

Awesome find, I always wonder what was going on in the area and how the person who dropped the old coin felt when they realized it was gone. I would imagine in 1833 money that 1/4 real would be around $5-$10 in today’s money. I know I would be bummed if I lost a 5 or 10 spot! Lol

Nice find! What part of New Mexico are you in?

Southern by texas border

Good job jimmy. Why didn’t you show me where that was on Sunday bro? Hahahaha

Way to go Jimmy! That’s a nice old Real! There’s gotta be some more old Spanish silver in there,

Las Cruces? There’s a lot of history along I-10 there.

I’m from way farther west on I-10 - Phoenix. One of these winters I want to do a trip to the Lordsburg / Deming area.
