Detector(s) used
Nokta Fors CoRe, garretts gti2500, gtp1350 minelab 30 whites coinmaster 3 and a DFX300.
Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
These are analog detectors which still work well. Only down side is they weigh more.
 

I swung the ADS and my wife used a Groundhog, but it's been many years ago now. Sandman is right, the ADS is perhaps the reason for my elbow issues today.

I'd say in comparison between those (especially the ADS) and today's detectors, those old beasts were pretty darned capable. The weakness I see between them and today's is in the coil technology - concentric versus DD.
 

thanks guys I had a whites 5500 Di I got new in 1983 it was heavy but well balanced.
