That looks like it could be an old wire cap. Used to tie electrical wires together.

From the photo it does not appear to have any threads for pole connection like the glass insulators I've seen.

My guess is that it's a Decanter Cap.

Perfume bottle top. The rounded end used to dab the perfume on the skin. My guess ;D

I added some more. I don't think it is an insulator either. I have never seen anything like it. The metal is rounded on the bottom and flat on top.

It looks as if it might be a "catseye" glass reflector of the type used on older highway signs, posts, curbs, etc.
