Hello all. I actually didn't find this today. I found it a couple months ago, but just recently got a scanner.
I found this in a park that back in 1800's was a resort hotel grounds. According to resourses, the area that the
hinge was found was the garage/stable where the carriages were parked or repaired. I am not sure, but
I believe the hinge is from an old trunk lid or possiby a carriage door. It is made of brass and is around 1/8"
thick and 4 1/2" long and 2" across. If anyone has any info I would be very thankful.
