While out hunting for arrowheads on a property I recently got permission to hunt, I came across this old piece of history setting out in the middle of the woods. I don't know any details about it other than it's very old and I didn't get too close because it looked pretty snakey in the area. Didn't want to step on one and old home places like this are prime for snakes.

Get your butt in there and tell us what it's like. AND.......detect that joint and look for a dumpsite for old bottles. Damn the snakes....full speed ahead!!

That looks like a 'Great place' to detect, but I would wait until the snakes are hibernating.

Cool spot. Just wait for a good killin frost, which ought to help out with the snakes and the vegetation.
