Hunted an old house in town today with my buddy Nooberz. He is just learning so I am doing all I can to help him. He did better today than yesterday he found 5 wheats and a mercury dime.

I found an indian 1889, a merc dime 1918, 13 wheats, a crucifix, neat old pocket knife. It was a fun day and a beautiful fall day to be out digging

Those are some pretty nice finds! What is that crucifix and band pin made of?

crucifix has a wood cross with brass around it, band pin looks like brass to me, no markings

I think this may be a pictorial account of the Genesis (Old Testament , Bible ) of Eve being
tempted by Satan , depicted in the serpent form on the one side of the knife - the other side
depicting Adam - who she will soon involve in the temptation . I could be way off base with this
that was just what hit me when I saw it - others will no doubt see different scenarios . Argentium.

Id say PG-13, Still a great find!!! HH Chug

It's possible that if you turn it on its side, you can see that she is reclining, and "he" is looking at her. "He" also has a cloven hoof and is holding what appears to be a set of Pan pipes in his hand.
I think there is also a horn showing on his head.

Probably from Greek mythology? Very interesting find. Congrats.

Nick on Buckeye treasure hunter suggested he thought the "man" might be a satyr
