old lead sinker or something else

This beach find looks like a lead sinker but it could be something else.

It has two holes. Both look hand made. Any ideas?

Yep, they are called egg sinkers.

Thanks for the replies.

It doesn't look like a cast egg sinker. I have found many of those and this one is older. I was thinking of a lead bead but it could be some old hand made lead weight.
