Got out the other day for the 1st time in a while hit a old part of a near by town in the intersection on a side street where people walk there dogs. Lot of trash but managed to find a old square nail and the lock and buckle if that's that it is. Was using my whites classic ID still have not got a arm cuff witch sucks to use it. Headed back out when the snow goes away

Also any info about the lock like the approx age would be helpful

The buckle looks like a part of horse tack, it's not a shoe buckle.

I have never heard of bowser, that said many lock companies made locks under different names or under contract to other
companies. Some private companies also had locks special made with their name on them I.E. GM, Ford and so on.

Cool lock.yeah that buckle is from tack.great work

I've checked till about page 50 on google for the bowser lock can't find it anywhere so either it's home made or google don't love me today

If I'm remembering right........Bowser made gas station pumps, etc.
Anyway, it would be worth a check.......

The thing.that stumps me is it had a side key kinda like a master key to unlock it on the side plus the regular key hole on the bottom I'll clean it up today and see if there is anything else on it

Slaymaster, Corbin, Master and so one made locks under other names and make them special with a companys logo.
seldom do many of those made for a company with special logo show up.
