Old match holder

[jtw1313]

Not sure how old this is but its cool. Don't know if little door was cut or if it is like that for a reason

[duggap]

To me it looks like an old ashtray from the backseat of a car.

[digging wv]

Does look cut. Nice relic.

[jtw1313]

[jtw1313]

[HAPPYCAMPER]

My wild guess its a wooden match holder, was cut out to accept the longer ones?

[jtw1313]

It's cast iron pretty clean cut does seem like that would be why it was cut

[jtw1313]

Didn't look for a maker name yet
