Old milk glass fruit jar lid. How old?

I found this yesterday at my neighbors house. They have a nice old dump just behind there house. It is made of milk glass and the lettering reads “Consolidated Fruit Jar Company New York” around the edge. Can anyone help me with dating this piece? Any help is appreciated.

approximately 1920-30's. LOOK for the jars they fit.

That is called a porcelain liner. It went inside the lid and shielded the jar contents from the metal zinc screw on lid.

The outer zinc lid rotted away, leaving the liner.

Sometimes they’re dated, I have one around somewhere dated 1912.
