West of Quartzsite are many mine shafts.
Just above this shaft (I took the pic THROUGH the fence, not inside the fence) is what is an area I KNOW was never detected.
Except for my holes.
How can I make this statement? Because the rocks are ALL covered with desert varnish and I found these OLD trash pieces. A metal button, two "hob nails" from an old shoe, and an iron piece that says "spur" on it. No other trash was found in this area.
PeteyGirl and I will detect the WHISPERS here tomorrow. TTC
