I cannot find any info on this button. Tried to do it myself. I have faith in you folks. It is one quater inch in diameter and seems like it may be brass. I put the rear pic first. ooppps

I think this is probably a civilian, nautical-motif dress button rather than an actual naval or maritime trades button.

I looked... but these two-hole navy deals are prolly commercial and not military.

There are some official four-holers but nothing like yours.
