🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Old padlock

Found this old padlock on 1840s homestead. I cannot find one like it on the entire web that has any ID info. I only found a couple of photos of a lock with a recessed, round center like this. Does anyone know anything about it?

Keyhole on other side I assume. Could it be something like this

I would see about cleaning it up. There might be some info on it. Here is how to do
