Old park gives up silver and gold!

[ozbach]

Bass99 and I went out today to our old faithful spot, He dug 3 indians in a row, then a 1911 barber dime...indians were 1890, 1899,and 1908 and the 1908 might be a "s' mint mark...he will get back to me on that once he cleans it off a bit....My finds were a 14k gold ring,a 1899 barber dime,a 1892 V-nickel, and one 1918 wheat...We had a great day, and no rain!!! woo hoo! UPDATE: Daves "Bass99" Indian was a 1908 S if you didnt see his post below....and that is the second one he has found!!!...good job Brutha!!!

Great finds. Love the Injuns and Barbers. Finding that gold ring is no easy task. Gold of any kind in my neck of the woods is hard to come by. Congrats.

It's is a S with full LIBERTY. What a way to end the weekend, steelhead fishing in Tillamook Friday and Saturday then heading back up for some serious coinage. Next weekend, you up for it?

[RFrady]

Awesome finds. Hard to find that level of stuff in an are that is only 50 years oler than those finds. Great work.

Nice little haul there, anytime you bring back silver and gold you can tell all those people that ask; "what did you find?", an amazing story filled with adventure.

Thanks for all the great comments people!.....dont give up on that silver!, go at it with a attitude you know its there, and it will surprise you......It was kinda funny how I found the first barber dime that day...I called Dave over to show him how my 2 tone ferrous was working in the nail infested spot. so he was right there on the full dig to watch the 1899 dime pop out...that was a high fiver for sure..lol
