old pigeon band?

Ok, last one. I think this might be an old pigeon band but thats purely a guess. Can anyone confirm or deny this for me?

Looks to be a bird band, can't tell if for a pigeon or some other bird. There are websites out there where you can report the band number and they can tell you what bird and when it was banded.

Thanks for the tip! I suspect if this is a band, it either predates the FWS database or (probably more likely) is from a hobbyist bird keeper. It is only marked "P 29".
