My son picked up a permission that will likely keep us busy for years to come. Its big (50+) acres with several outbuildings and an old General store dating before 1900 still standing but no longer used.
I spent about 3 hours digging tin foil balls and pieces of aluminum and other great sounding targets while my son sat in the car. It was a bit cold and for some reason his fingers and toes kept going numb. Maybe it was the below freezing temperature?
Anyhow…not much to report other than an old safety razor (Possibly 1912) and a single 1937-s penny for my time.
Still…I had a blast and I can’t wait to get back out when things warm back up.
I have a feeling this new site is going to give up some real interesting stuff!
Cheers and happy hunting!
