Old scotch/whiskey bloodgood & co england bottle? Any info? Thank you

I wonder if perhaps it might be from this establishment in New York City? This ad is from a publication from 1892 but as you see the Bloodgoods were in the wine business in NYC for a long time. I actually found some 1840s newspaper ads that reference them dealing in all sort of liquors - including scotch whiskey. But was not able to find anything listed as "Bloodgood & Co" until I found this reference here.

Did you purchase the bottle in the US or in England?
