Ok, not exactly old, but they sure are silver, and my biggest single score. I ended up going to a small nearby town, and they had a bag on their coin machine that they told me hadn't been dumped in over 3 years. It had $477 in it, but they told me they couldn't sell it til it hit $500. Luckily I had almost $400 in kennedys in the car, so I went and popped 3 rolls and cashed 'em in, I am so glad I did....

Final keeper count was 70 40%(one of which was a '69 proof), 3 '64s a ben, a nice '84 proof, and finally, an '87 P & D, I was amazingly happy, I love findin' those old bags.

Rock on, thats how to play the game. Just think, otherwise it would have ended up mixed in with 50k of other halves and sent out in boxes otherwise. Getting silver int he bags like that is the best way to go. And great for full collections when they are dumped :)

Way to go gf !

Very, very nice haul !

That's an incredible 7.7% keeper rate.........even when you factor in the $23 you had add to fill it.

Good score. I'm still looking for the '87s to fill my collection.
