old spanish brass chain and medallion? help relic? artifact ?

hi folks i found this wrapped in the roots near the river in central illinois can any one help with the identification.it is rolled brass beads with nice design long chain cross, armour, crown, swords,spanish looking. can anyone tell me the age or possible value ?
