Old Spanish Fort

There was a Spanish fort built on the Sangre de Cristo Pass Trail northwest of Waldenburg. Is anyone familiar with the name and location?

There isn't anything left of it but it was located north and east of La Veta Pass. Some accounts seem to confuse it with another old Spanish fort that was located near Gardner/Badito.
