I picked up my boxes today and all were dated July 2007. The last 2 weeks have all been April 18th 2007. I can't figure this one out.

These boxes were loaded with casino halves as the rims were wore pretty smooth on many of them. You can see the smooth edges on the coins in the picture. They are so worn the copper in them is really exposed making it tricky to edge search but the distinctive sound of silver is a dead giveaway......

The totals......

4-64's
3-65's
4-66's
14-67's
20-68's
3-69's
1-Franklin 48-D

49 Silver Keepers

Also found a 99-S proof.

Like Cat, I did a little shopping today and bought a few coins. I picked up the 20th anniversary Silver Eagle set with the reverse proof. That is a beautiful coin!! The picture does it no justice at all. I also picked up a Chinese silver......I just liked the design is all....ha!

Nice coins LJ. I also bought rings from the coin guy. He get tons of jewelry and only play people unde spot for them. So I picked up two nice rings today. One a Lindy Star with a diamond for $20 and one much heavier ring with emeralds for sixty bucks. He just charges melt for them. He was popping out stones left and right when I walked in so I took the box away from him and looked through them. He says he has boxes of stones he probably won't do anything with. I need my own coin shop... LOL

LJ, How are you able to get such good clear, close up pictures? I have been trying with my digital camera, but if I try to get a close up, the flash washed it out. I could use some tips on taking close ups of coins.

I bought a camera that not only has a close up feature, but this one also has a super close up feature.

Mojo is right about the flash. The super close up feature automatically turns the flash off.

Good luck BD.
