Today I went to this new site I got permission for the other day...old home for sale..1700 house and farm..part of yhe underground rail road...was there for about 1 hour and 9inch down I pulled this beautiful girl out of the ground. ..1733 half cent.. (I think it's a half cent)??? I can see the date clear as day...George the 11..and brittania....Any information would be great. .also I think I cleaned It to much..I liked the patina better.

Thats a quarter cent. Called a 'farthing' derived from 'fourthling'. Nice score!

Ohhh ok thanks!!!!!

Pretty good looking farthing, most of mine are blank

Very nice detail on that one, a keeper for sure.

Now that my friend is an awesome find. Congrats.:hello:

Thanks guys. ..

:tongue3:Don't ask about patina, lol. Some get their panties in a twist if you don't answer correctly. Congrats on a great find. Btw, I like a lil old patina too. It's like grey in our hair. That coin has earned it.
