Oldest coin yet...

Found another 'first' yesterday...1827 large cent. It was only 2 inches deep, probably because it was in an old garden area which undoubtedly had been tilled numerous times over the years. My 1865 2-cent piece has been dethroned!

No Ken, this old cop can tell that that old cop put the coin on top of his headphones, which are wrapped around the handle of his detector. Its an old cop thing...Sub
