Oldest find yet!

My wife and I just moved into a rental home in the country. The house was built in 1820 and is in the national historic registry. The sun was out yesterday so I decided to swing around the yard. 1st target about 2 inches down 1825 Large Cent. I have 3 acres to search, you can imagine my excitement. These are better pics.
Thanks for the comments!

wow, THATS dedication!!! Your search for a rental went something like..."Lets see...we need a 3 bedroom, attached garage, updated kitchen...it was built WHEN? 1820? Yup, THATS IT!!! It even has a 2-holer? PERFECT!!!

[oxbowbarefoot]

1825 is getting back there! You're closer to the 1700's than the 1900's

. That's pretty much how it went. We purchased 10 acres about 5 miles from here so we need a place to stay while we're building......Perfect!
