Detector(s) used
White's Eagle II SL & Eagle Spectrum
I'm going back to using a White's after a 2 yr. absence. Going back to one of my all time favorites which will still hang with most of the new detectors. I'm talking about an Eagle II SL. It is in my opinion one of the best detectors they ever made.

I certainly loved the Eagle SL II. Its ground-tracking left something to be desired (if you lived/hunted in an area of constantly changing ground minerals as you traversed terrains). But I learned to constantly re-ground-balance without even thinking about it. When you're in two-tone mode, you can actually hear when you've drifted (d/t the all-metal background tone would either drop, or start to 'come up'). Other than that, I loved the lightening fast TID, target separation, pinpointing, etc... The only reason I ever switched to the Explorer (Sob wimper!) was that the Eagle just didn't quite get as deep as the newer generation of power-houses.
