Oh man I am pumped. My hunting partner sure outdid me good this time!! We hit a couple sites and were doing ok, I got a 52 Rosie and some wheats, Oldschool had gotten a nice tag and 1904 Indian, then as it got dark and we were walking to the truck........Oldschool digs one last signal, and Oh my gosh, I couldn't believe it!! A 25 cent sutler from the Civil War 3rd Michigan Calvary. I don't know exactly how rare these are, but I think they are pretty scarce. And I believe Michigan only had one sutler token. Hopefully someone will know more and fill us in. Thanks and HH. Dan

sweet token, great hunt you guys. gotta love this hobby, ya just never know what you're going to recover. HH

Interesting! I have seen and dug many CW tokens, but never seen one worth 25cents. That was a lot of money back then.
I know a token expert, I will see what I can find out for you.

Awesome token you found there Dan  a great memorable find for sure!

Could be +$500.00...........

From my exp digging CW stuff that is a really good one,Why? > 1st it's got a specfic unit on it, 2nd 25c is a big amount. I'll dig around in my books and see if I can find it. WTG!! Offhand guess to the value - Cause it's Yankee......lol Only about $35+ Awsome find!
